2024 Virtual Vacation is the first release of Wouter Van Belle under the name Wtrx. It is an album with soulful reggae and dub grooves, available digital and on vinyl. Virtual Vacation started out in 2002 as a jam session with long time collaborators Marc Bonne (drums) and Yannic Fonderi (keyboards), the late Jean Marie Aerts on bass and Wouter on Hammond. The session was recorded on a 8-track Studer A80 in Wouter’s then home studio. Two decades later the recordings were transferred, edited, overdubbed and mixed by Wouter at Studio Powertone.
